Mkuze Private Game Reserve and Lodges in a malaria free big 5 reserve
The Mkuze Private Game Reserve is located in Northern Zululand and spans around 40 000 hectare. The Reserve was declared a protected area on the 15 Febuary 1912. The Reserve is known for the diversity of habitats including savannah, woodlands, sand forests, riverine forest, pans, grasslands, cliffs and rocky ridges. The reserve makes up the north western spur of the st lucia wetland park, which was declared a world heritage site in 1999.

The location of the logde is a prime location as it is surrounded by world heritage sites and internationally recognised nature reserves. A main attraction at this lodge is the amazing Tiger fishing. The Tiger fish is said to be one of the most exciting fresh water game fish there is to catch. There is even a tournament at Lake Jozini in October that attracts fishermen from around the world. |
